Hello All I live on Cape Cod Mass. I drive a 99 drifter with a Champion hack. I am looking for someone near by who has a HERITAGE SIDECAR for an indian. I would like to come out have the Mrs sit in it and If alright I want to sit on your bike to get a feeling.
My Champion which I love, The passenger seat sits on the floor and my wife is having a hard time long distances with her legs bending backwards. She needs a higher seat and a little more room. So if anyone has a hack I can drive up ND SEE please let me know. We will figure it out from there.

I wanted to put it on my kawaski drifter but Hannigan does not k=make a mount for this bike.

You might also take a look at our Tomahawk and Tomahawk SE sidecars http://www.dmcsidecars.com/sidecars/tomahawk-sidecar/
This sidecar is quite a bit larger then your Champion sidecar and of course with the opening door it is easier to get in and out of and it also has an external opening and locking trunk.

Several years ago (2008) Hannigan sent me specifications and pictures of one off mounts they made for a 1500 Drifter. At the time I had a 1500 Vulcan which has a similar frame and I made my own mounts with this guidance. That frame is relatively simple to make a mount set for. I put about 35,000 miles on that Vulcan/Hannigan Classic rig before selling with no problems. The current owner is still riding and very happy. I still have the information.
