I have been riding a Honda 1300C VTX with a CJ sidecar for the last four or five years and have been happy with it.
I have been looking at an 86 Goldwing due to more protection from the elements and wonder how it would work with the CJ sidecar?
Also, how hard is it to mount a CJ to this bike?

Your 1300 is a naked bike. The full bodied GL1200 will probably need a subframe for a clean install. Plenty of power to pull the CJ and a reverse is nice.

reverse not fitted to 1200s, only on 1500s and 1800s, but reverse would be nice. mike.

Just shows to go ya! I try not to keep up on the GL and Beemer accessories. There's a lot I don't know about either one.
