I need a little help please, from anyone that has a GL100/Terraplane
rig. I don't have mine together yet, but have an opportunity to buy an
enclosed trailer and would like to know if my rig will fit.

How wide is your rig? The trailer I'm looking at is a 7 x 14 and I'll
have a door width later today.

If you know the width, or can measure yours please let me know

Thanks,
Roger Stam

PS The TP restoration is my winter project and hope to have the rig
finished in time for Vintage Days at Mid Ohio.

A 7' wide trailer will handle a Terraplane rig easily and most all double wides that I know of.
The main width limiting factor is if it has wide inside wheel wells.

Thanks for the reply Lonnie. The trailer has a very small (and short) inside incursion for the wheel wells. My main concern is the rear door opening /ramp width.

Roger

I have a 6x10 and it has a 5 ft. door. I tried a friend's 7x14 and it only had a 6 ft. door. So I think I will need a 8x trailer to get the needed width door. My GL1500/Champion Escort will need about 7 ft. Just food for thought.

The local dealer has 8 foot wide enclosed and they still have 72 " doors. I haven't found one yet with a wide enough door.
