Well we finally made our move and upgrade. If you're reading this you've made it to the upgraded forum hosted by a brand new service provider. As many of you have noticed the web site was a little unstable for the last couple of months.

Let's hope thing run much smoother now.

The upgrade is the most noticeable change. There are several new features and things might look a little different. If you have trouble with any feature please let me know. It would be best if you ask questions or tell me of any errors or problems you encounter by posting in the "Forum Help" forum. That way everyone can benefit from the issue and hopefully the resolution.

Let me know if you find anything missing. I re-imported all the photos and attachments that we had removed in order to try to keep the old forum running.

Rob

Bob,

Thanks so much for the upgrade! The only thing I haven't found yet is the "Last Logon" button that shows me new posts since the last time I logged on.

Al,

Try the "New Thread" in the bar that includes Search, and Statistics, right below the Google adds. I'm not sure if that's similar or if I need to customize that a bit and make it say "Last Logon".

I also see a problem with our avatars. Be patient it might take a few days to refine things :).

Yes, the website is gorgeous. Thanks for the excellent work. The only thing I had to do was to resend my Avatar.

It will be much easier to use the site now. It's the best one for sidecars!

Thanks.

I think I fixed the Avatar pics. But re-uploading them will fix them if anyone's are still broken.

The new site looks great and it seems to react a lot quicker than the old one. Good job Rob and Joyce!! I agree with Al though, I like the "last log on" that brings up everything posted since the previous log on even if it is a new post to an old thread... Even if there are a few glitches still to be worked out this new site is light years ahead of the old one!

The new site looks great and appears to be more user friendly for us technically challenged individuals.

New Thread is the same as Last Logon. I'll bet by tomorrow you will be used to it.

After much ado with my "cookie monster" cookie manager,
I managed to logon. Very nice presentation and the new
server is a welcome addition.

Thanks for your work.

Didn't even take that long. I first thought "new thread" would only show actual new threads and not necessarily new posts to older threads but it didn't take long to figure it out. This new site is really, really cool!! Well done and cudos to all who made this happen.

Hello Rob,
Thanks a lot for making disappear the "overflow error" and its nerve and time stealing consequences.

Might be I didn't open up enough my eyes, but I do not find the features "Last Logon/today/this week" which in my eyes in the old site were great features, that helped a lot for a frequent lurker like me (who instead should be working)
Best wishes and ON ON!
Sven Peter
