Is this the same rig that was at the Chicago Motorcycle Show of a couple of weeks ago? I think it may be and, if so, is owned by (forgotten his name) here in the Chicago area.

This rig was sold at an auction in Chicago in the Fall of 2004. I really don't know who ended up buying it. I think, at that time, the asking price was around $11,000.

Take care

Ahhh, I think it IS the same one. I took a couple of pics of it at the show and will dig them out.

My wife said she'd divorce me if I bought another motorcycle (I have 5--all Guzzis, so she's not totally unjustified).

At $11,000, I'd probably have to take that chance.

So Rich, should I try to find out if it's for sale? 😉
BTW, I see you're in NM. We VERY seriously thought about moving there two years ago (Albuquerque area) because we're legal guardians for a young man who has severe autism and the one thing in life that always gives him pleasure is riding in the sidecar - which we could do most of the year in NM. Sadly, NM has a 4-5 year waiting list for providing full services for people such as Luke, so we scraped the idea and remained here in the cold northern Illinois.
