In what seemed like forever, the used escort that, we found here on this forum (thanks), is now attached, and ridden. To say this is a whole new ball game is an understatement. Kind of like football and lacrosse are played on grass, same surface different game. After a few passed down hwy 140, to check alignment and my nerves, I began the journey home from our farm. Its only 70 miles and I’m usually in a hurry and jump on the interstate, 45 minutes later I am in Kennesaw, in 5 minutes I have a glass of scotch, and I am home. Yesterday I took the road less traveled, thanks Robert Frost, and indeed it did make all the difference. Once the nerves calmed down and I realized that I could do this it became, well, fun. Don’t get me wrong, I love the twists and turns of a good road and have touched a knee or two in my younger years, and the need for speed still fills a small area of my brain (turbo v-rod), but this was fun, it was new, and I liked it. And a free workout was included at a very small price, but the smile on my face, lol, was a sight to see. Will post some pictures today, as a trip to the local dealership is in mind, paid too much for the bike I have always wanted so I hit their free coffee whenever I can. Thanks to all, for the information is invaluable. One word of thanks to Hal Kendall, for I read and re-read your manual, and would have never made it home yesterday, if I hadn’t studied the pages time and time again. Now can you put one of those leaning hacks on a V-Rod? See ya soon or on the Road!

I'm sure an Armac would go on a V-Rod but it would be a much better setup if mid controls and different bars were part of the layout.
Those stretched out forward controls on most all V-Rods have one balanced on their tailbone instead of on their toes. Not the best positioning for a sidecar pilot unless one only runs the superslab.

Turtleman57, glad you enjoyed your ride. I read your report with much intrest as I'm in the process of having a new (painted to match) Hannigan sidecar installed on my Electra Glide. I'm having EZ-steer and camber control installed. I also added a disc brake for the sidecar. I really hope I enjoy the setup. my wife has a Trike which is ok, but just not for me. I also have a R1100RT for when the need to go fast occurs. hope to see all of you on the rode. I plan on taking my new Hack to the Great Chicken Rally for its Maiden voyage.
