OK, its late, I've had 3 diet cokes, don't have to get up early tomorrow, so......

This is my new fantasy rig, the new Kawasaki ZX 14, reworked as a sport tourer (new Concours) Massive torqe, ABS, hard luggage, shaft drive, electric adj windshield, bla bla bla. Hopefully still will have 160+ hp.

Dream is to get it mounted by David Hannigan to one of his high performance side cars (hub centric front, car wheels, sways bar, etc.) http://www.hannigantrikes.com/content/hpsidecars.html

Only issue is $$$ However, since the new Connie won't be here for a year or so, I guess i have some time.

The Concours with the ZX14 engine is going to be introduced next year. No need to wait until 2008. I have been looking at the ZX14 for a replacement for my Duc. The few extra HP would help in passing!

What's seems a little uncertain, is that the article's say it will be introduced next spring, but as an 08 model , in Europe. Some commentators seem to think that means fall for the US. Hopefully they are wrong. I was close to getting ZX14, but the new model has several features which really appeal to me, apparantly much more low end (variable valve timing) higher, pull back handlebars, shaft drive and hard luggage.

At least I wont look at the new harley's (lol).

This would be a perfect combination and satisfy both my wife and I. I just hope to see one on the new Kawi Concours 14, can't wait!

That is a steel hinges combo as in Mosler, Diebold, you name it. Of course no bike is inexpensive today especially if you buy some power and technology.

Shucks, my fantasy sure is modest in comparison: the new Star 1300 with a Champion Escort sidecar. Oh well, small dreams are okay.
