Don't you Wish you could
I almost fried my computer with drool going into the keyboard looking at that.
Oh yes i could please, not much sidecar lead needs setting up so i shall pass see how easy it is to talk yourself out of it.sidecar wrong side to.
I like this one
That sure would look nice sitting in your garage this winter. It would give you another reason to be impatient for spring! Not sure it would be a daily rider but you'd sure have to get it out and play once in a while. And parked over at your friend's little bike shop where we were last it would sure draw a crowd in. All you got to do is buy the right lotto ticket.
Boy, that is cool!
Be interesting to see if it gets any bids.
If my freeby government stimulus check gets here quickly, I just know it will be enough to cover a winning bid on that rig. Yup, in figuring out my share of the 7 billion bail out money, I should be able to easily win the $65,000 Buy It Now cost and maybe even cover the tax and shipping, as well. Please, please, please get that check to me before someone else outbids me. π
Of course, I am still in love with the simplistic, utilitarian, farm-fresh Urals at heart, but this shiney Indian one is tempting to spend all that money on. Choices, choices, choices. π
Of course, if the sidecar is on the wrong side for anyone, then maybe something as this would be the ticket.
This reminds me of a conversation I once had.
"I wish I had enough money to buy an elephant."
"Why in the world would you want an elephant?"
"I don't want an elephant. I just want enough money to buy one!"
It is pretty though! It also didn't sell. I wonder if Jay Leno heard about it. It'd look good in his garage.
Since it didn't sell do you think he would consider an offer of $15,000?
Sorry for the mini-hijack, but I have a question for Ralph:
Hey Ralph, with that avatar, shouldn't your name be Hollister? 8^)
(Well, I did say "mini"....)

I'm sure he would. He'd consider it as quite a bit low!
Hey Barb - that's right! That was a photo (staged) by a Life magazine photographer at the infamous Hollister run (basis for "The Wild One" starring Brando and Marvin). I saw that movie several times as a youngster and I guess it messed up my brain forever.
If that was really me there would only be four beer cans at the foot of my Hog.
Look at the Wild Ones movie again today and then try to figure out why in the world anyone would be scared in the least by such a clownish group of bad bikers. The biker attire they wore in the movie is outright humorous when viewed in that movie today. Hard to believe that anyone was ever fearful of those guys, but look at most of the biker flicks made in the 60's, and you get the same thing. I can't remember if it was C.C and Friends, with Joe Namath, where the girl on the Honda 90 was riding as fast as she couid in order to excape the bad biker gang chasing after her. Sort of hard to accept that it took ao long for them to catch up to her with them all on choppers. Only in a movie, huh? I was messed up as a kid as well, as I still get a kick out of watching those old movies. π
High bid of $65K still didn't get it.
$65K Well saved.
Lonnie
The auction is marked "Reserve Not Met". I wonder what the reserve was set at. $65,000 isn't exactly play money although it might be for some rich folk. I'm not in that category.
