Circle tour of Lake Superior
Well I know it's been some time from i last time posted on here. Just wanted to say a few words about our trip around the lake and to the HD museum. First if you ever get the chance to do this tour--DO IT. Don't belive the people that say the roads are poor or that gas is hard to find. AS for the roads, the Canadian roads are far better than the road in MN or MI. The only place roads were even a little rough were where they were working on them, and that was few and far between. Gas is easy to find. Even with having to get gas every 120 miles or so- i never had a problem finding any. Now as for Hotels. They are alittle spendy in Canada as is gas. Expect to spend at least 100 bucks a night for the most part. Gas ran about 1.12 to 1.17 a Lt. 3.8 Lt to make a gallon....you do the math. The Views and the Great people of Canada make it all worth while. We also stoped at the HD Museum on the way home. Well worth the 12 or 14 dollars to get in. plus we got there in time for the Evil Kenievel exibit. The History of the Sidecar is quite impressive, all though we found out on arival that the Sidecar was being discontinued. Sad after 97 years(yes HD sidecars started in 1914) they would pull the plug. I guess they need more time to focus on important things like T-shirts and tricycles. Very sad. All in all it was a wonderful trip and i plan to do it again when i can.
