hey, anybody know whether a champion sidecar rides different/better/worse then a harley car? I am thinking of buying an Ultra Classic with a champion attached to it,,,just wondering the difference if there is one,,,,
Champions use a spring over shock on a trailing arm for a suspension, HD mounts the tub on leaf springs with no suspension on the frame. I have a Champion Legend attached to my softtail and like the ride quality. I think the HD philosophy of no suspension on the sidecar frame would lead to a rough ride.

Having ridden both, I find this to be very true. What ever that Harley sidecar tire hits, you will definitely feel in the bike.
