I'm in London, Ky about 1.5 hrs north of Knoxville up I 75. I've got the wife interested again (whew) and we are going over to Hannigans to look around and talk to them this weekend. I'm pretty sure after she sees a few and sits in one with the grandsons she'll be sold. We're taking the boys along and they should be a big help to papaw in talking her into it. :>)edit to add that you have a nice looking rig!

Going to look at the sidecars in person is the way to do it. I believe that both of you will be impressed. Also, the Hannigan cars are 'flip top' style cars, designed so that getting in and getting out is easier on the passenger...

Have fun! ...and thanks for the kind words for my old Goose.

EDIT: Hey Claude, how you doing?

I've heard nothing but good things about Hannigan. I ordered my sidecar from them back in December. It is supposed to be delivered in the next week or so.

We'll see what happens when my rig arrives, but so far, I've been treated well, and they seem to be very knowledgeable of their product. I ended up going with the Hannigan Bandito. I also got the electronic camber adjust and the disk brakes which added about $1100.00 to the cost.

As for price ... yep, there is denying that the sidecar was shockingly expensive.

Good luck finding the right rig. I'm pretty excited about being able to haul the little ones around instead of just me and my wife.

Well, I thought I might as well follow up on my prior comments now that my rig has been delivered and I've been riding it around for a couple of days.

From everything I see, the hack is top notch. Very sturdy indeed. The mounts and struts appear to be well engineered (speeking from an engineer's perspective), and the whole rig feels solid going down the road.

I don't have the brakes or the ECC hooked up just yet, but even just having the sidecar hanging off the side of my bike, I'm rather pleased.

I've only had my hack for a few days, but at this point, I would definitely recommend them.

SWEET LOOKIN rig there bill. Classy looking combo with the Guzzi.

I enjoyed reading the strategy of broncorckcrwir on bringing the grandkids sidecar shopping. I don't have any grandkids yet, but the strategy seems sound. How can the wife refuse ......"can we get this one Pawpaw??"

I agree; seeing these things in person is where it's at.

Thanks for the compliment; It gives me an excuse to post a photo, which is my way of pushing the brand (and tweeking Claude a little...) one more for fun~
