Hey, anyone want to fess up to owning this rig? Nicely matched blue rig (sort of blue-gray) southbound on the 405 yesterday, passed through Kirkland at about 3:35PM. Nice cowl/fairing on the bike, car has a rounded snoot... Steib? BMW? Cozy?
Anyhow, seeing a rig around here is rare enough and I hadn't seen this one before. Thought I'd see if the pilot is on this board.

I finally ran this guy to ground in Carnation, WA on Sunday. The bike is (I think) a 1956 BMW on its third engine. The hack is a Steib. The setup is on its fourth paintjob. Or maybe it was the fourth engine and third painjob. He told me how many miles he's put on the rig but the number was so high that it went in one ear and out the other, I'm afraid.
Anyhow, the gentleman's name is Don and he's a nice guy. Wave if you see him out there.
