After having my first rig totaled by the insurance co. after being rearended my search for a new rig is over. I picked up a 2006 Ural Tourist and I couldn't be happier. The Ural is the rig that got me interested in sidecars in the first place. I've put about 1000kms on it mostly commuting back and forth to work just to get used to it. It's a whole different world from the Yamaha/Champion set up. It's great to be back on a rig, enough so that I'm contemplating selling the solo bike. Given the choice I go for the Ural every time, it's just too much fun.

I stuffed a reduction motor of a machine into my Jawa Rig and paid it with a broken boat floor. I had to take off the sidecar and yearn now for it because the storm doesn't allow me to drive as solo. (today the 3rd tree since november fell down in the farm. and only 12-13 degree Celsius with horizontal rain...
