Well, this thing has really taken a turn from mileage to mileage to actually running on two feet. When I put the rig together, I really didn't think I would ride this much. I even told the insurance company that I expected about 3K a year. LOL!!! But it amazes me how much I really do ride the hack. Maybe some of the high mileage riders will give encouragement to the newbees on the site that you can really ride quite a bit in a years time if you want to. The wife and I take two trips a year to North Carolina and north and west of there and all of the accompaning states between there and Florida. And since we do have year around riding (if you can stand the heat and humidity of summer) we do get to ride more than our northern cousins. For any of the readers of this thread that would like more info on what makes a comfortable hack, the guys like sidecarmike and claude can probably give you a lot of tips. I have a few myself if you are interested.

Stay safe and Stay Hackin!

Jim, I may send you PM. If things work as planned, Connie and I are thinking of a fall trip, going north from Jacksonville. Sounds like you might have some great ideas of what/where, etc?

Greg....

Please do. I am far and away from a travel guide, but I have been there, several times. Depending on how far you want to go, Boone, Blowing Rock, Ashville, NC are all really nice. We just recently went to Pigeon Forge, TN, which is the most "G" rated Las Vegas in the world. Only beer and wine, and then hard to find. But beautiful riding areas. We went there so we could go to Birmingham AL for the Barber Museum. Couldn't find a time share any closer. We are looking at western VA for a time share and then ride daily out and back in. We usually go Miami to Savannah, Savannah to wherever. This time, we may go Miami to Charleston (outside on the big I) and then up. The first day is critical, as I can't make more miles the second day as the first. Too Pooped To Pop. 540 to Savanaah, about 675 to I26 and I95. This I can do, as it appeared that I could do it this last trip. We are now riding 300 to 500 miles a day on Sat and Sun just for fun, so when I get my lean out resolved, this should be a piece of cake. You have lots of time, study you maps and take a shot.
