Well that's certainly different. It obviously has to have a way to steer the forward wheel but I have to wonder how much does it decrease gas milage, and as enclosed as it is,
Why didn't they just buy a car?
Some states would not allow it to be licensed as a motorcycle anyway.
It is a prime example of "Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

Not legal in the USA, for the same reason that the "voyager" "insta trike" and others are not legal. All states and federal law define a motorcycle as having 3 or fewer wheels. If the law is followed this would require full automotive compliance to both DOT and EPA automotive regulations. The laws are seldom enforced but still on the books and if there where an accident you can bet the lawyers would bring it up in court. Beyond that, I like seeing companies trying new things, this has been around for about 15 years, when they fist came out some referred to these as an answer to a question no one asked. Another issue I see is total lack of customer support on the part of EML Once the rig is sold, even my self as a sidecar dealer and manufacture can not get them to return emails, phone calls or faxes no matter what language I work in. Owners of older EML sidecars have to go to great lengths to find ways to work around needing replacement parts as the factory is NO help and the USA importer all they really want to do is sell trikes. We have an older EML due in latter in the week that is being shipped across the county for us to repair the brakes and a failed wheel as EML will not respond to any attempts from the owner for help with parts. I know of others with EML sidecars that gave up and purchased parts from EZS as they often use the same sub contractors and EZS will at least return phone calls in perfect English.
