What is the difference between the sent items folder and the outbox folder. When I reply to a p.m. the response goes in the outbox and not the sent items. How do I make sure that the response was sent and not waiting to be sent?

I was confused about this for awhile too. The PM remains in your outbox until the other person opens it. Once it is read it show up in your sent items.
