Anyone out there have this combination? Would like to hear from you if you do. I'm interested in discussing rear tire wear, front end/ steering mods and other issues/ problems with bike/ hack. Just returned from a three week 7200 mi. trip.

i put on a Hannigan supersport on one a couple of years ago.was a nice package with lots of power and relitively good steering for a stock front end.almost all Kawasaki cruisers could benifit from some sterring mods as they tend to have some pretty large trail figures, usully around 7 inches.

Thanks for the reply. I put the steerite mod on my triple trees and it made a big difference in ease of steering. I'm considering a leading link setup. Did you use up rear tires alot. I'm averaging approx. 6000-7000 mi. on a rear tire. It is killing me. I've been considering an automotive tire if I can get one to fit the rear wheel. I saw where someone put a 205/60-R16 on a stock wheel. Do you have any experience with using auto tires on rear?

the bike i did was for a customer,so i don't know about the tire wear.we occasionally put 195/50r16 on 1800 Gold Wings with good results, usually around 25000 miles or better on Bridgestone and Michelin tires.
