Trying to get a windshield on my '74 model 560. I got the main metal parts from the Czech Republic but none of the braces/spacers/etc. Any ideas of where to get the remaining 75% of what I need? Thanks.

Show us with photos what You have and we might tell what to get where.
Myself I have the full windshield, with rain torneau and arcs left over, as I use only the plain simple torneau. I do not think that 2001 is that much different from 1974.
On all 3 rigs, first thing to go was the windshield as it doesn't permit me to ride out and will only break down speed and gasmilage.

I don't have a picture, just the JPG from the manual. I have parts 18, 19 and 20 with no holes drilled in them. Gaskets and spacers aren't the problem, I need all the other metal bits to reinforce the windshield mounting. I could mount the windshield to the parts I have but there would be no support at road speed. I can't figure out how to add that JPG to this message. This site is confusing!

Karen, it is not that dificult at least with photos.
When You have finshed writing and sumited the text, then go back on your post and hit the upper right edit button.
in the new edit box at the bottom is a line telling add/remove attachments. Klick that one.
in the next upcoming box "Add a file" / exam / sumit.
that's it for the photos. To me what never worked is the repair order button.
Good luck

Will try the JPG again. If it works, thanks Peter Pan!

As I see You have the very old round style, then mine must be the modern 562.
parts 5,6,6a,10 and 13 seem to be packings you can make out of old tire tube (neumatics) I love the one packing material that comes as cork filled up with rubber.
The parts 8,11,14 you should be able to copy from the parts you have. depending on what is the original material you could use flat steel or aluminum. In the last case I would use aircraft aluminum 6065 t.. you get it at steel merchants and it machines excellent and isn't smeary as the soft 3000 aluminum you get at construction suppliers.
just a thought.

I'm hoping to find (somewhere in the world!) parts 7, 8, 10, 11, 13 and 14, the metal bits. Spacers and washers, nuts and bolts aren't the problem. My sidecar installer is a talented fellow but I don't know how much of the metal fabrication we can handle. Thanks for your help in any case.
