My '07 Ultra has an '08 car installed by HD after the bike was on the road a year. I am building a trailer hitch and bought an adapter plug for the lights. My question is will the trailer put too much of a draw on the electrical system, and if so how do I fix it? Thanks...

I don't think so,,at least I never had a problem using the MC system but you will have o run separate lights for the turn sigs.
