I just got a SOA eagle sidecar and I am in need of a new tire and shock.
I do have the stock 16" spoke rim and the only tires I found so far are a Firestone, Cooker or Shinko tire. Which one would you guys recommend, or is there anything (better) out there? Also, would a 100/90 fit or is it too wide?

One issue we have found with some of the SOA 16 inch wire wheels. No idea where they got their wheels but the rims are not always 16 inch motorcycle specifications, they some times are larger making it very difficult to get the bead of the tire to seat. We will inflate them as much as we dare using lots of tire soap and then let them sit in the hot sun and hope that they go on. Once on they seem to work fine. It does not seam to matter what brand of tire you run as far as getting the bead to seat.
