Oven Cleaner?????

I tend to procrastinate a bit. When i bought my sidecar it had the PO's kids names on the side of it. I read about oven cleaner on another forum last winter.

Finally got up the nerve to try it. Actually, I finally remembered to buy the stuff when I was in a store.

I have to confess, I was a bit nervous. The sidecar paint looks better than the bike. I have not yet applied any wax or polish. I just sprayed the stuff onto a paper towel, rubbed the paint off, and wiped it with a damp cloth when I was done. Of course, I tested it in a hidden spot first.
