Just recently purchased an 03 bMW LT with Hannigan sidecar. I need to change my tires soon... ? any tips ?

Great to see you also over here! I have a Metzeler Marathon 880 Bias-Ply on my front and a Bridgestone 020 radial on the rear. Standard K1200LT sizes and most know the rear tire requires a "C" load rating tire (not the lighter load "B"). The "B" load rated tire is fine for the front but not the rear. And, yes! I know I am mixing bias and radial but even as a 2 wheeler it was fine. (The Marathon gives somewhat better miles than a B'Stone radial front)
As a 2 wheeler I put 22,000 miles on the previous Bridgestone 020 on the rear and hope for maybe 12 to 14,000 as a 3 wheeler. But, I trim alot for ease of handling plus I am not hard on equipment so maybe my tires will have more longevity than some sidecarist.
It was great to hear you are riding with your son and he enjoys it! (BMWLT.com) It is super great to talk back and forth while enjoying a ride and the countryside. I don't know how it can be any better than that!
And, that bit of "wobble" you mentioned could very well be from worn and/ or out of balance tires..............
