I have a 2000 Quota with too tall gearing. I want to replace the stock 8/33 rear drive unit with a 7/33 unit. Anybody know which ones, from what bikes, are 'plug & play?'

I put a 7/33 from a T3 into my 99 EV11. It should work for you. There is also a gear you can change on the trans end of the speedo cable to get that to read right. Guzzi also sold a 7/35 which they called their "Sidecar Gearset."
Contact Gordon at www.mgcycle.com. He can set you up.
