I run a Champion Escort sidecar and the seat is fine for short distances but if we go a hundred miles or so my son's back really begins to hurt. Is there a shop I can go to that make custom seats. I was thinking of a web type design that would attach to the seat frame first and then have the cushion sit on this so that it would create a spring type support. Any ideas?
Did you go right to the source and call champion sidecars in CA ?
Alot of these companies do custom who if the customer has a specific request.I doubt they they actually manufacture the seat themselves vs they have seats made for their models and install them as the make the sidecar.
And if they can't do the work for you they may be able to give you some
advice on where/who to call.
