🙁
Today it was very little Sunday fun to ride out with Sunday drivers blocking the roads.
The Ural needs speed to get up the hills with a free spinning engine, if you stay too slow you get into trouble.
Our hot summer with way too many Sunday drivers crawling around spoiled most of our Sunday ride. A km before our favourite restaurant the engine overheated and started to seize. Wait for to cool down the engine and withstand the best of all wife's comments... Very motivating!

So, although I did not get a thermal bypass valve yet, there is no other change then to mount the oil cooler with a fan ASAP this week for to overcome trouble in town and on our long steep hills.
Others just ride like nuts, overtake in a dangerous manner and take pictures at the same time.
The typical UDF Ural delay factor has become more complicated then we got used to in USA and Canada.

For Costa Rica new UDF parameters have to be added to the equitation.
long steep hills + Trucks and Sunday drivers = cause overheated engine
engine cool down time
brain amputated trying to take a photo while driving on the left side in a serpentine or similar stupidities
beggars and Harley T.shirt wearer who will block a main crossing just for to obligate you to talk about the first rig they have seen for years, while every body else honks as green light came up..
:O
No thanks, I prefer the antique UDF factors like kids with a great smile."Mummy I want to ride in that carousel bike"
😉
Until you finally get onto the lonely roads you can relax and let her spin again swaying through beautiful landscapes.
🙂
A fun that last only until you have to get home and enter central valley again.

COOL. I rode yesterday but I ride most days. LOL I go to a friends house just about every Sunday to work on many of his different motorcycles which in a couple more months I will be there 5 days a week. This Sunday this young lady Sara said I sure would like to ride in a sidecar so I handed her a helmet and said lets go. Did not need to ask her if she enjoyed it as it was miles of smiles.

For sure you never had to promise your wife not to take any women into the rig that is not from the family....
I had to when the Jawa came into the house.
For the Ural I did not have to promise the same. in exchange Sophie is still "dog free".
They are begging and in some moment i might ceed their begging.

Life is good as soon the roads are free from Sunday drivers and nuts.

I do not have a wife or live in. I know all about Sunday drivers no different here. It is about 15 miles to my friends house and had two cars pull out in front of me on the way there not counting all the other idiots. I drive like every one is out trying to run me over all the time.
