See the photos, BruceInHouston

I attached the 562 Velo frame (modified with a trailer tire) to my Helix, using two 1X2 11 guage beams. Wow, it worked right out of the box! Of course I had all the wisdom here to guide me in doing it right the first time.

You will see in the photos I need to do some additional beefing up, but it is an excellent start.

I drove it about 50 mph, straight and true, but with some sort of harmonic wobble if I let go of the bars at that speed.

The car wheel flys easily of course, but that was just plain fun in the parking lot.

I could not get it to dive, but I was to afraid of that to do more than a hard turn a 10 mph. Was this a good sign, without weight? The trailer wheel objects to this loudly, naturally.

A diving left turn in this low center of gravity rig worries me. Maybe I will weld on something to scrape off.

It was soooooo comfortable!

Suggestions appreciated.

Cheers,
Bruce
