I think I know the answer to this question but looking for some confirmation. Are the tubs the same between a CLE and TLE Harley sidecar? I know there are differences in the mounting hardware and sidecar frame. Any input is appreciated.
don't hold me to this but I think the tubs have been the same for many years. I looked at a 60's era car in my search last fall & it appeared to be the same tub. I think the difference is the accessories they ad to them such as seat & stereo. a quick call to your trusted hd parts dept should tell you if they have different part#s.
Don't know if this is definitive......Going by the 2007 sidecar body part number I got off of Ronnie's HD, using Harley's part numbering system which uses the number after the dash as the year of the last revision change....it's been the same body since 1963

Thanks for the responses. There is a body for sale near me that is advertised as a CLE. I'm thinking of buying it as the start of another project. I will just have to measure the locations of the mounting holes in the bottom, that should tell me what I need to know.
