in setting up my side car i neglected to see where the oil level was on the kick stand and now that the bike is level i have no idea where the oil level should be, thanks

I beleive it's a 1/2 low when upright.

What I did was change the oil and filter, put the proper amount of oil in, run it, shut it down, wait a few minutes and checked the oil. Then I marked the dip stick....
