Here is a complete kit, from Pingel,  to electronically shift your Goldwing 1500.

There used to be lots of hand shifters into the 1970's

I use this on my servi-car (3 wheels)

The other is a Harley frame mount shifter, used up until 1978 perhaps? Planning to install on my rig in near future.

Panhead_kicker, it's  helpful to know that the  person  requesting  this information  has a 1995 Honda Goldwing  1500 sidecar rig.

Which  means,  he is unable to  activate  the clutch  via a foot  pedal, so the only way to  use the hand clutch, and a hand gear shift,  is to incorporate a system that  activates both the  clutch and  gear shifting  via electrics and  hydraulics.

Ergo....the Pingel system.

Yup,

In order to feel the least bit connected, I focused on the "even such a beast" aspect, to provide fun facts. You had him covered.

Back to lurking mode.
