I am getting a sidecar for an '08 Goldwing GL1800. My wife doesn't want to wear a helmet. Can anyone recommend a plain (non-helmet) headset to use for the monkey? J&M has a long lower code which should reach the sidecar, but they no longer have a regular headset only; everything they make os for a helmet.

You might contact EdSets http://www.edsets.com/ to see if they can make up something. I know that have made custom headsets for other things.
Also, you might want to check the laws in your state and other states you might be traveling to. Years ago we were stopped in Canada because my passenger had removed her helmet. We were given a warning and told to wear it.
