This seems to be hot topic with sidecar rig owners who run Unit Forks front end! Mine now 7 yrs. old; shock started leaking[Unit wants $440.00 for set from UK; lousy currency exchange rate!]. Was forced to reinstall Honda OEM fork; rig handles LOUSY now[spoiled!].
Was wondering if Progressive/Works Performance/IKON of Australia[or some other company]sells REBUILDABLE replacement shocks for said machine, that someone here might have already found and tried; maybe a CUSTOM builder?
My shocks are supposedly old Konis[NO marking on them but end eyes were RED when new]; approx. 12 3/4" from[8 mm]eye-to-eye; have approx. 3/8" spring coil diameter; 8 5/8" fully extended spring length; shock body o.d. approx. 1 1/4"; shaft diameter: approx. 1/2"; shock travel limit to stop: approx. 2 5/8". If these were rebuildable, I wouldn't be making this post. ANY help really appreciated.....Old Tom aka papasmurf in NH

Does netherlands Koni still exist or not? who has notice about them.
I loved mine and after 110.000 km they were still in excellent shape. As I heard my bike still runs in my home town perhaps even with these shocks.
Honda original shocks were a pain from the first day (in 1983) and completely worn after 38.000km (1 1/4 years).

If Koni with the seperate damping adjustment is possible to get I only can recommend them.
