Escort car wiring diagram??? or VTX Hmmmmm???
I'm thinking about trying to pull my Kwik Kamp with my VTX 1300. I really need a wiring diagram. I will probably not be pulling long distances unless I'm solo. I've pulled it 5100 miles with a GL1800, but the VTX 1300 is quite a bit less powerful than the 'Wing, never mind adding the Escort, but I just might want to hit the state park down south of here. I know there are a lot of folks here that know which way to go with this wiring question. Thanks in advance.

If you give me a call 866-638-1793 I can go over just what you need via the phone on the Escort side of things, If you have a fax number I can fax you the diagrahm however I can not email it right now as our scaner is down. You could also simply attach the wiring to the bike as the Escort wiring will not have the left trun signal in it. At the base of your fender are the plugs for the wires going into the fender. This is where we attach the wiring harness for the trailer hitch we build for the VTX.

I have a big umbilical wire cluster from the bike to the Escort, with maybe 16 different wires, some were not connected, some were, and there was a rainbow of wires.
Thanks for the phone number, I'll put it on speed dial lol.
I didn't do the install, I bought it new with the sidecar installed, typically on a VTX with sidecar is the right turn signal disabled on the bike, or does that set of wires from the Escort cut out that connection.
My fax number is (803)484-5207 that's the museum's fax where I volunteer at.
