I have acquired an Easy Rider basket case that seems to have been built some time in the 1970s. It has a 17 mm axle and seems to require a 17 inch wheel. The wheel hub can be no wider than 2 3/8 inches in order to have enough axle threads left to screw down the castle nut and still be able to put in a cotter pin. The wheel that was on the frame when I bought it is a 19 inch and the hub is too wide for the axle so changing out the rim is not an option. Do any of you know of an available original wheel, or a suitable replacement?
