Compairing sidecars
I wont to buy a sidecar to ride an 200lb Greatdame, Their are lost of brands.Does anyone know wich is bigger and better for the job? What about the Cozy it the cheepest.
Moving a 200 pound dog will take a larger size tug. Will also take a pretty good sidecar to have room for the dog. Don't think a Cozy will have the room for the dog. What are you going to use for power?
Right now on Ebay there is an English unit up for auction. It is a Watsonian Oxford. This is a four passenger unit, it is large enough for your 200 pound dog. These are great cars, good smooth suspension. Just big and heavy- about 285 - 300 pounds, a very high dollar item when new from the United Kingdom. That is why they are not seen here very often.
The one on Ebay was just relisted this evening, it had no bids last time through. It is located in Schiller Park, Ill.- Chicago area- right near O'Hare Airport. Bid ends 09-05-07 @ 12:59 PDT. Item no. 290155730439 - it will take $3850 to open the bid. This price may be a little high, I don't know. This post sounds like I am the person selling the car but no it is not me. Just trying to answer a question and point you toward a large sidecar for your dog. Also, I speak from experiance as I own a Watsonian Cambridge which uses the same frame but is just a two passenger unit with a large trunk.
Have a good day

Id be on that like a fat kid on Smarties if
I lived out that way.
Train the dog to sit ; he'll fit as well as a person. Be sure to get him some eye protection and restraints so he can't bail out, ya know.
