I have an '04 Champion Escort which has two break light bulbs. One of them is shorting out. It appears that the black wire attached (actually it looks like it is just pressed up to the outside shell of the bulb holder) is causing a short which makes my break lights pulsate, all of them including the GIVI top box break light. Anyone else have this problem? Champion is, I believe, out of sidecars, and their technical help is a little bit short.

While I cannot help you with your wiring trouble, I think it's inaccurate to say that Champion is out of the sidecar business. Sidecars are listed on their website. It's just that Champion, as well as California sidecar, have found that right now trikes are their bread and butter.
