I am toying with using a automoble tire on the rear of my '86 Yamaha Venture Royale with 80s vintage Hannigan Astro. Tire size is 140/90-16 71H. 140mm is pretty close to 5.5 inches. Has anyone had experience with car tires on sidecar rigs? Or, am I barking up the wrong tree wanting to use a car tire? The machine will never be ridden minus the sidecar.
