Greetings everyone. I'm new to sidecars but learning fast. I rebuilt this rig and am loving it, but am curious to it's history. I posted pictures to album titled Spirit Eagle Diamond in the rough. All Spirit Eagle sidecars I have seen are much narrower than this unit. Someone at the BMWMOA rally in Lima said that the original was modified, (ie split lengthwise and widened), by a fellow in Michigan. Thought I'd see others at the rally but no luck. Thanks to anyone that can provide any information about this rig.

I've never seen it before, but it really looks good. Maybe that trick could make some other cars actually useable. Thanks for posting it.
