Other than "evil"Bay, does anyone know a good supplier for nuts and bolts for a 1930 HD LT side car. I've talked to Steve at VL Heaven, I've gone thru Colony's catalog, and my next idea is a call the Harbor Vintage. Anyone have any other thoughts?

Thanks

Peter

Aside from them ask Rat at Harbor Vintage or you could try Antiquemotorcycle.org

Are you missing hardware? if it is a matter of the finish on the hardware and if the nuts and bolts that you have are in good shape why don't you parkerise them yourself.

This is what I have been doing on my 30 VL
Do you have the part numbers?

Or try them http://www.vintagemotorcycleworks.com/

Thanks for the reply. Some parts are ok, some are not. I'm bead blasting what I have and will get them parkerized. Some of them broke when I removed them and some were too rusted to salvage. I have all the parts numbers and I talked to Rat today and he'll try to find what he can, but I'm just wondering if there is anyone else to check with.

As an aside. I'm restoring the same bike. 1930 VC with a side car. Export bike brought back from Europe. Did you remove the two ball studs on the side car frame? Those set screws seem a bear to get out.
