Alternative trail reduction
I have noted the lever action front ends and the triple tree alterations for trail reduction, additionally, I recollect seeing a lower slider amendment to accomplish the same, has any one seen this or remember where the site might be?
AND, if you do remember, is there any comment on this method?
We some times make these and call them leading legs, There are photo' on our web site www.mysidecar.com
There are many ways to reduce trail. We have many that we use depending on what we are doing. For some bikes we will build leading links, others leading legs, some we will change the angle of the forks, some we will move the entire fork forward using clamps onto dummy fork tubes in the stock location. For some BMW's we make different ball joint mounts for the telelever system.
It all depends on the bike, budget and look we are going for. In the shop now we have 4 different set ups going on bikes being finished up.
