OK nobody has come forth with a photo of this mount for me. How about the HD part number for the rear mount?

I think the one I need fits '58 to '72 round swingarm drum brake models. I need it for a '72.

Hey George
When / if you get that info could you pass it along. I am looking for the same dang booger. Have the set up for the 73 on square swingarm, but that piece is straight and wont work since it would hit the tire adjuster.

Hey George is your swing arm round with a cast "loop" to insert a stud bolt through?

The hd book I have is for 1955 to 1965 I believe these parts would work on your bike to,on page 107 item #57 is the mount from the rear of the sidecar frame to the swing arm of the bike it is part# 87197-58

Item #56 is the connector stud part # 87192-58 this passes through the above part and through the loop in the round swing arm you will also need item #55 it is PN 87191-58 a bushing item # 21 is a washer PN 6725B and last is item# 39 the castle nut PN 7947

If you really want to go the HD route I go to the dealer by me and they will go into the dealer old stock lists and they may be able to help you but I would check the cost from V-Twin also

Thanks for the part numbers Chuck, using the dealers parts locator is actally what I had in mind.
Yes I have a '72 FLH with round swingarm. The cast end on the right side has the mount hole below the swingarm just behind the shock mount.
I currently have an '80 sidecar with the short frame and will weld on a post '79 right passenger foot peg mount to use the '80 rear mount that I have.
One day I may come across a pre '79 sidecar frame that uses the swingarm mount and will have the rear mount for it(after I round it up).

Chuck I would deeply appreciate your scanning of the part number pages and e-mailing to me. If there is a diagram of the mounts and sidecar frame too, that would be helpful also.

I see you are in western NY, me son and his family moved back to GA last year from Auburn, NY. He worked for an archery accessories manufacturer there.

Thanks

Tod, What piece are you refering to being straight? the bracket going from the sidecar frame to the swing arm?
