Hello, I need some help finding some 17MM Bar stock to make an axle for my forks. Would Prefer 303 ss or 15-5Ph. Need a piece 15" Long.Thanks in advance for any leads or info. Bob Novarino

You might try McMaster Carr. The sizes would be English/SAE tho.

Unless you plan on doing the work yourself, I'd just go to my friendly local machine shop and tell him what I want. Even if you do plan to do the work, he can probably get the piece you want.

You might try picking up a longer then you need used 17mm axle and modify it. That is what we usualy do.
