I guess nobody in Toronto has a sidecar.

Garry, don't give up so soon. Sometimes you have to broaden your search area. I see you are also near Orangeville. Been through there on rides with our son and his friends (rice rocket owners) from the Guelph area. It makes for an interesting sight to have six or more rice rocket owners to travel with and people more interested in talking to the guy about the side car rather than drool over their rockets. I'm sure others will be in contact with you. If not, maybe we can hook up in the spring as we go through your area or you might wander over to the Guelph area. Just got back from Port Dover's Friday the 13th event and saw 6 other rigs there. In my opinion sidecar owners are a unique and independent group of people. So don't wait for others, get the sidecar attached, read manuals available on this site, then practice so you can get out there. It seems like one sidecar has a way of finding others.

I live about 20 minutes from Beeton. Going to Brockville on Nov 28-29 by 4 wheel. We have friends in Gananoque we see quite often, Gan is not far from Montreal maybe that might be an idea.

Garry, We are always up for some good wings. Also working on our family history and need to find time to get to the Kingston area to do some more research. So keep us posted when you figure it out next summer.

Crawf, we were in PD on Friday, but didn't find the tourist paper this time. Just figured that they had not planned on so many and ran out with all the people. We were surprised to see so many bikes for a November day, but it was warmer than the ride up on Thursday. Estimates I heard were around 5,000 bikes and the ride in town was a bit hectic. Don't think they or the police were ready for that many. The ride back to Guelph got colder after the sun went down, but still was enjoyable weekend. Got to see our Great Grand daughter again, had supper with friends in Buffalo on Sunday (they had not seen the rig before) and then home. Maybe we can meet at Tim's for hot chocolate the next time through.

Garry, we are in the Corning-Elmira area, about 2 or 3 hours southeast of Buffalo depending on how you drive. Been to Innisfill to visit friends, Mossport for the vintage races, Cayuga to watch the son do some time trials with his rocket, London Ontario to visit family, Orangeville and past the wind turbines on various rides with our kids and their rice rocket friends. Helped move a kid to Oregon this summer and was bummed that I couldn't trailer the bike so I could ride it back. Will go about anywhere we get an invite and looking forward to the USCA rally in July 2010 to help put faces with names.

I hope the 'Return to Trenton' rally goes again in 2010. It combines 'Sidecars in the Park' with the BMW rally. It was in mid Aug the past 3yrs. Just up the 401 for you Toronto + area folks. Two sidecars rally within easy riding distance in 2010. Should be fun! Great fall so far. Still riding daily in late Nov in lower Laurentiens.

Hey Garry, I stumbled upon this site having been given the link from another site.
I'm half way through my own first hack.

You can see it here: http://www.chromeheads.org/discus/messages/6/429498.html?1258434409

Good luck on your own personal hacking adventure.
It's been a real joy for me so far.
