Sidecarists are always welcomed because some of the children participating are unable to ride pillion and availability of sidecar seating allows those children to also have a chance to ride and participate.
Although 2008 is rapidly running out, the calendar of events for 2009 is already posted on the "Ride For Kids" list so even if you don't ride this year, mark your calendar and plan to ride in 2009.
Thanks, I did the ride here in Asheville NC. I volunteered my rig. Next year my wife's rig should be ready and we will both go. It was a great event.
We used to do the same over in Germany specially for brain damaged kids twice a year. It has an incredible satisfaction factor for them and You, I just can recommend it to everybody. Fast you forget to grunt but learn to grinn!
