In addition to other motorcycle/sidecar-related activities I'm involved in, I'm one of the organizers for the Pacific Northwest GS Rally. This is a "GS" (not specific to the BMW breed, but open to any street legal dual-purpose/enduro/off-road capable bike or hack with an engine displacement of greater than 649ccs). By popular request, this year's PNWGS Rally has been extended to 4 days. We're super excited to have champion off-roader Jimmy Lewis with us this year. Jimmy will be offering paid-for enduro clinics, and has confirmed that he'd welcome sidecars to the classes.

And, if you're interested in learning a few tricks from Jimmy Lewis on two or three-wheels, you may also sign-up for his clinics, though we are limiting the clinics to 40 rider/pilots total over two full-day classes, so we expect these to sell out quickly!

Ural Motorcycles will also have their demo trailer there, and will have a number of rigs available for test rides (maybe even their cross-bike hack).

Sounds like fun. I hope to make it. Right now all I have is one or our Platform sidecars on a KLR with one of our leading link front ends but who knows what I will own by then.
