Champion Daytona 2+2... one of the best sidecars ever made in the USA. Price is correct at $ 4k....those mount attachments are for a Goldwing 1500.... keep that in mind.

@miles-ladue Do you happen to know how much the GW hook up differs from the valkyries? A 2+2 on an F6 is pretty much my dream rig. At least until I end up wanting those goldwing creature comforts.

Dork, your question is too ambiguous.

There is a lot of differences between years of Valkyries....such as a 1998 vs a 2014....both are Valkyries, but huge difference.

And a lot of differences between a Goldwing 1500 vs an olde school Valkyrie....even if both are the same year.

@miles-ladue Specifically the american made 94-2001 valkyries, not those swoopy shaped Runes, but that doesnt help much anyway since we don''t know the year of the gold wing this tub came off of.

Dork, no one mentioned the Rune.

Are you not aware that Honda made the Valkyrie again in 2014....with a Goldwing 1832cc fuel injection engine?

The original Valkyries were the F6.....but Honda also had the F6B released in 2013.....which was a Goldwing 1800 Bagger

All 1988 to 2000 Goldwing 1500's had essentially the same frame, so no matter what year this Daytona 2+2 was attached to, it "should" fit all other Goldwing 1500's.

But the original Valkyries had a different frame than the Goldwing 1500's.

@miles-ladue I was not. I saw the 2014 shapes and assumed the f6 were the orignal run and the f6b were runes

Look up a 2014 Valkyrie.....then look up a Honda Rune....two very different bikes.

The 2013 Honda F6B is again a very different motorcycle.

@miles-ladue I see. I'll still take the older run for my taste.

Dork, nothing wrong with the original Valkyries....other than they suck fuel... and if you add a sidecar to them, the size of a Champion Daytona 2+2, expect to get less than 20 mpg.

Now, in the class of the original Valkyries, you have the standard model, and the Tourer model. The Tourer model came with factory fairing and hard saddlebags.

@miles-ladue I'm torn on the touring version becuase it is the best looking fairing I have seen on a bike, but the transparent wind screen looks so much better and everything the fairing had to offer is inside the helmet now.

Also this Daytona came off of a 92 goldwing.

Dork, my greatest claim to fame is....I am good at solving Whirled Peas.

What you need is a 2006(ish) Yamaha Royal Star Midnight Tour Deluxe.

Yes....a Yamaha Royal Star Midnight Tour Deluxe.

The Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe was made for several years....ended in 2009. But the "Midnight" version was heavily chromed.

I have owned 2 of the 2006 Royal Star Midnight Tour Deluxe bikes

V-4 engine, 1300cc, shaft drive, pulls like a mule. Comes with the detachable clear windshield you like....comes with factory hard saddlebags, very comfortable seat, and the most retro instrument cluster since a 1948 Ford.

Look up....2006(ish) Yamaha Royal Star Midnight Tour Deluxe.... you will like that bike.

Zowie!  Lots to consider.  I will make one small caveat to using a Royal Star as a tug on a large sidecar- final gear ratio might be a little short for genuine long distance touring and fuel consumption.  Mine wasn’t a Tour Deluxe, but it definitely needed the final drive modification.

i was about to suggest the 14 Valkyrie as an absolutely amazing bike that has ALL the advantages of the Goldwing without being a “wing”.  As for the 90s era Valks, yes, they are absolutely abysmal with fuel and they are a marvel to operate.  Giggle factor set to absurd.  The touring trim is excellent and the non touring versions are kind of lacking in creature comforts on longer rides.  Finding 90s vintage in good shape might be a challenge.

Have you considered a Connie or ST1300?  They don’t fit my frame but are excellent bikes with lots of features to make them worthy tugs.

Dork, if you are interested....we do have a fellow sidecarist that currently owns a 2014 Honda Valkyrie with sidecar, and I believe he is considering selling it, and moving on to something more capable of doing a little bit of dualsport driving....meaning a little more offroad capable.

I can check with this other fellow, and get pictures of his bike and sidecar, "IF" you are interested.

I have seen his complete rig in person, parking in front of Hannigan's in Murray, KY, but that was a few years ago, and my memory isn't what it used to be.

Picture of this actual 2014 Honda Valkyrie rig....
