A rememberence ride is scheduled for Mark Schmidt, a sidecarist from Merrill Wisconsin, who died Sept 25 when he and his wife hit a deer with his 2004 Ural sidecar rig.
I didn't know Mark, but he was a close friend of an acquaintence of mine, who has asked that I post an invitation to any sidecarists wanting to join them on the ride.
It will start at Pro Motor Sports in Brockaw, Wisconsin at 11 a.m. and culminate with a memorial at 3:00 p.m. at Kathy & Cal's Club 64, in Merrill.
I have contracted to have my pontoon put in to dry dock that day, but if I can change it, I will be there. Kind of wish I still had a sidecar for it.
