Hey, last fall had the CSC III and 08 Harley Ultra dialed in the best I could with the parts I had. But, the only way it would work is reversed the Bosses. Problem is the axle to axle was 15 1/2", which caused right turns to be a workout.
So, detached it, to see what parts I will need. Brought csc back to 10", put clamps & bosses on. Now the angles changed, there is No way the lower 45 clamp is ever going to work even with a longer or different Boss. Angle is too severe and won't come close to mount.
So, switched clamps around, the lower front is going to need a longer 45 degree boss, and in lower rear used the 70 degree solid metal boss, which worked.

Question--Does it really matter which clamps & boss mounts together as long as there is No Movement? Thanks for any replies-

You should keep 45 degree bosses with 45 degree clamps and 70 degree bosses with 70 degree clamps, in other words do not mix them. It does not matter which you run, we find more often that two 70 degree clamps and bosses work much better then a 45 and a 70. We also offer the 70 degree bosses extra long with a double walled tubing in order to reach a greater distance fore and aft. And we offer then with a longer end in order to help get under the floor board. Usually we have these in stock ready to ship the same day. And of course we can custom make you what ever you need for your application.
