Hello Folks,
with the help of our youngsters 14+17 I put back Jolly Roger 2 the Velorex 562 sidecar to my tiny Wendy the Jawa 350 for to get through technical revision soon.
10 month as 2 wheeler did good to the engine, its free and pushes better.
But this time had made me personally nervous, because I was missing the mud riding in the mountains.
The Jawa as 2 wheeler is great, but you should have seen how our (now again 3) dogs were driving crazy as soon the sidecar was hooked on and the engine started.
Specially the oldest one, 13-14 years old Camilla (she looks like the "Taco Bell" Chihuahua) drove nuts, she didn't get out and defended her sidecar against the others which wanted to enter too. And she was loudly demanding a ride in "HER" sidecar. You should have seen her blinky eyes.
Before getting the dogs on a ride I will have to renew my licence and I will have to finish the boat: the seat anchoring, the dog lash tye and I will have to make for the dogs some kind of inlet for to protect the seat from their perfume.
The new lower sidecar bowl made out of fibre glass makes the whole sidecar much more stiffer. Riding a little with my son inside the farm I noticed that the boat will not move any more even on the worst gravel. So I hope this job will last even the day I get a new work horse for Jolly Roger 2 and get into the high mountain range again.
