My new Hannigan GTL that was put on my 2008 Honda 1800 airbag arrived back from Hannigan today and it looks GREAT!! 🙂
It was raining so I spend the day getting it ready to ride tomorrow, but the puppies (a white Shepherd and Choc Lab tried out the seating arrangements and loved it)a long with my other half.
They did an excellent job on matching paint = impressive job.
Can't wait to get Hank out on the open road (name of my bike).
So far I am rating Hannigan 4 out of 5 stars on this job.
However, the shipper they recommended - Incognito Express only gets 1 star out of 5.

UPDATE - SUNDAY 25 JULY 09 we were able to take it out today (other half make me leave dogs at home for first trip) Guess it was OK to kill us, but did not want to hurt the pups!! Anyway I was in heaven. It will take a bit to get us to the yaws slowing and excelerating, but otherwise it drove like a dream I was in heaven as it was so much eaier on my knees and back! We had so much fun! wen t for lunch and that is all we had time for B4 the rain came but did I mention this WHAT FUN!! I am so hooked what took me so long to do this!:-))

would'nt get my other half in it though she get chlostro- thingamy, but the dogs would love it. Hank

I`ve only seen today the pics from your new gl 1800/Hannigan rig. What a beautiful red lady. Wish you all the time much pleasure with it.
But what about easy and comfortable handling the rig ? As I can see the front fork and the motorcycle tire are unchanged. Is it really easy to drive without bodybuilding experience ?
My GL 1800 rig got the following modification:
- ExtensoDive front fork with a 165/65R14 tyre mounted on an EML manufactured 14” front wheel assembly.
- A stiffer aluminium triple tree replaces the stock lower triple tree.
- The steering head is made longer and is reinforced.
- The Honda available brake disc covers can be mounted.
- The sidecar is mounted on a stiff sub-frame attached under the engine.
- A 185/60R15 tyre mounted on an EML manufactured 15” rear wheel assembly.
