Yeah, overdrive on the 1200 only works on flat or downhill grade. Working on getting the VTX ready to sell for now. If I get what I want out of it, I will look into other bikes to buy out right. If not, I will keep riding them as is! Either way, we've already gotten our money's worth out of the wing. Been a blast this summer!

If you decide to go with a Harley, give me a shout. My frame started out as a Harley one and had the piece added to it. Rather than try to adapt yours, maybe we could just swap frames. The mount is still on mine.
You would use the two lower mounts for a Harley, where I use the uppermost and the lower one.
I know I'll never put it on a Harley, so your frame would be fine for me.
How far apart were your frame braces originally? I forgot to write down my measurement this weekend, but I believe inside to outside was 23"

Correct. Mine is now at 29", but the distance between the original two is 23".
So I do have the shorter framed version. That is what Jay thought, but I wanted to check. So I think unless I modify the frame, I am looking at the car working best on the GL1200, a VTX, or a harley. Thanks mike!

Adding to it was really straight forward with Jay's kit. You could probably fab one too, but I didn't have one to compare to and have always had good results with Dauntless.
